Live your Best Life is a 6 week group designed for teens to cultivate self awareness and acceptance, build confidence, and improve emotional regulation using skill building, activities, and peer interactions.
Objectives of this group include:
- Teach teens how to better monitor and manage their mood
- Encourage teens to identify different methods of communication and problem solving
- Promote more assertive communication
- Improve their ability to notice without judgment
- Introduce and promote the skills of mindfulness in order to create calm, and improve self-soothing
- Teach skills for having and maintaining healthy relationships with adults, peers, and others
- Educate teens on preventative skills to help them live a more balanced and joyful life
