Art as Mindfulness- An expressive art group for teens with anxiety about school

Your teen worried about school starting back?
Think they would be interested in how to use art for relaxation?
Isolation during COVID make their social skills a little rusty?

Then book their spot today. Spaces are limited.

Teens can join our art-based skills group and learn some creative mindfulness tools. The group will be held in four sessions over several weeks. You will notice that the first three groups are in August, before the school year begins. These groups are used to teach teens tools and expressive art skills to demonstrate reflection on your thoughts and feelings without judgment, improve skills for self-soothing, and to encourage social interaction with a shared experience while appreciating different perspectives. The last session in September will be after school has been in session and provides the teens additional support, a place to process the skills they found helpful, or make adjustments so that their school year can be as productive and enjoyable as possible.
